Did a great job but used to much the first time.
Which product should I use?
All of our waterless cleaners are suitable for regular use. Quick Wash is a good all-round economical cleaner. Carnauba Gloss adds a layer of wax, so really looks after your car. You could use both products in rotation to keep your car looking in showroom condition!
Directions:
Use 2 microfibre cloths (clean or ones already used with this product). Surface can be dry or damp. 1. Spray a light even coat onto the panel 2. Gently wipe off 3. Swap to a clean cloth and buff haze to shine.
In freezing or very cold conditions ingredients in the wash can require more time to work. So we recommend cleaning a larger area (2-3 panels) before buffing to shine. This allows the wash to dry and bond with the surface.
How does it work?
Each of our waterless wash products contain a variation of ingredients to achieve the best finish possible.
In a ‘nutshell’ we use surfactants, wetting agents and lubricants for cleaning. These emulsify dirt, grime and contaminants, lift them from the surface and provide a barrier so they can safely be wiped away. We also use a high content of carnauba wax in our ‘carnauba gloss’ product. This premium wax is exceptional at creating a deep shine and durable layer of protection.
How many cleans should I expect?
Normally only a few sprays of waterless cleaner are required per panel. We have found it takes around 100-120ml of cleaner to clean a moderately dirty 4 door car. Please remember soaking the surface is simply a waste of product. A light coat is best.
What type of vehicle / surfaces can I use it on?
Cars, caravans, motorbikes, bicycles, rv’s, boats and most exterior non-porous surfaces including:
Paintwork (all types)
Wheels (all types)
Plastics and vinyl
Metal and chrome
Fibreglass
Glass (except Valeters Wash product)
When is a surface too dirty?
Our waterless cleaners are designed to remove light to moderate dirt and contaminants, but there are no rules. You just have to use your best judgment. If dirt is dried and caked on the surface, rinsing the area first is probably best.
Does the surface have to be dry?
Dry or damp is OK. Using the waterless wash on a wet surface will cause the ingredients to become over diluted, effecting its ability of clean. If the wash contains wax, it will also affect the level of finish and protection.
Are ingredients eco-friendly?
Our waterless wash products are VOC compliant and only use ingredients that are biodegradable. We do not use silicones, solvents, petroleum additives or any hazardous chemicals.
What cloths should I use / how do I care for them?
For the best results use microfibre cloths designed for car cleaning. These have a thicker ‘softer’ weave. Cloths can be washed at low temperature and left to air dry. Do not use a detergent containing bleach or softener.
